CASSIDY

My little Cassidy is growing up and I'm not liking it very much.  She just recently had her braces removed so we thought we would capture the moment by taking a few pictures.  I think she looks absolutely beautiful!

MEGAN

Megan has been happily married for some time now, but agreed to let me shoot some practice portraits of her for the blog.  She was absolutely stunning in her gown!  Her hair was styled by the talented Ms. KC Honeycutt.  They were both so fun to work with.   Thanks girls!!

CAITLYN + DILLON

Caitlyn and Dillon are a gorgeous couple and I had a great time shooting some engagement pictures for them a month ago.  I have to thank them for their patience as my crazy May was filled with two graduations and a family vacation that kept me from editing their session until today!!  I wish them the best of luck with their impending wedding and hope they have an amazing fun-filled future ahead!

JAYDE

Jayde is the son of one of my best friends.  We had a super fast session because this is a busy kid with a busy schedule!  I had so much fun catching up with his mom as we switched poses and locations.  I think Jayde had a good time, but we need to work on getting him to smile :)  Congratulations, Jayde, on your graduation and good luck on your mission.

AVEREE

Averee is my beautiful and super sweet cousin!  I have had so much fun doing a few sessions with her over the past year.  She is graduating from Altamont High School and will be the last of her siblings to move out of the house this fall.  I don't think her mother will handle that very well!!  Averee, I wish you all that is good in life and a future that is everything you have ever dreamed of.  Love you cute girl :)

MCKENNA

McKenna, my second daughter, will graduate in a few weeks.  I tried to find a quote, but nothing fit.  I just couldn't find the words to say how amazing she is to me.  She is the little sparkle that brightens my day.  I want her to know that I am so proud to be her mother.  I could list all her accomplishments, but the things that make me the proudest are her confidence, character and compassion - the things on the inside, the things that matter.  She has an amazing future ahead of her.  Go and become all that you have dreamed of, Kenna.  I'll always be here when you need me.   Love - Mom.

HARLEE

To be a star, you must shine your own light,
follow your own path, and don't worry about the darkness,
for that is when the stars shine brightest.

Harlee is a star.  This girl has talent and athletic ability not found in many.  I admire her because she has followed her own path over the years.  She has made choices that weren't always easy, but were necessary for her to stay true to herself.  That's not often found these days in young people who most often choose to follow rather than lead.  Congratulations on graduation and enjoy the wonderful future that awaits you, Harlee!!

HAILEY

People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out,
but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if
there is a light from within.
Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

Hailey is like stained-glass.  I've watched her since she was a young girl as she rode the waves through adolescence into adulthood.  She was never boastful, arrogant, or selfish - quite the contrary.  This girl is humble and kind and all the things that make a girl truly beautiful.  While her outer beauty is obvious, it's the inner beauty that takes your breath away.

EASTON

Don't let anyone tell you that you have to be a certain way.
Be unique.
Be what you feel.
Melissa Ethridge

Easton is unique.  I've known him since he and my daughter became good friends in Mrs. Krubsack's 5th grade class!  With his great sense of humor and fun personality, he has always been the guy people gravitate towards.  Easton is unique in many ways, but his style tops the list - just take a look below!!  Thanks, Easton, for staying true to who you are over the years and good luck in your future.

CASSIDY

The moment in between what you once were,
and who you are now becoming,
Is where the dance of life really takes place.
Barbara de Angelis

Cassidy (my youngest child) is a dancer.  This girl lives and breathes in 8 counts!  She has only been dancing for three years, but you would never know it.  When she takes to the stage, I am completely in awe of her.  It has been an exciting journey watching her grow and improve, not only on the dance floor, but in life.  She is at that in between stage where so many doors are open to her.  I know that she will walk through the door that leads her to an amazing future!  Enjoy the journey, Cass!

KODI

True beauty is rare and seldom recognized
by the one who possesses it.
Francine Rivers

Kodi is a natural and such a joy to photograph.  This girl shines when you put her in front of a camera.  What makes her so special, however, is the beauty that can't be seen.  She has the sweetest spirit and always treats others with such great respect and kindness.  She is never boastful or bragging, although with her many talents, she could be.  Keep letting your light shine, Kodi - you're a rare one indeed!

MARY

Perseverance is the hard work you do after you get
tired of doing the hard work you already did.
Newt Gingrich

Mary is always on the move.  This girl recently finished a grueling, but successful, year as a member of the Uintah U'ette drill team.  Did she stop there?  No.   She immediately started training for the track team and simultaneously decided to run for a Student Body Officer!  I have such high regard for teens, like Mary, who set high goals and aren't afraid of the hard work it takes to accomplish them.  She is a great example to her peers. Good luck in the election, Mary!!

KC

Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome.
Booker T. Washington

KC is a fighter.  She has her mother's strength and a drive to reach her goals regardless of obstacles that might be in her way.  She is beautiful inside and out and her smile and laugh are contagious.  She is my daughter's best friend and has been a part of our family for many years.  She recently graduated from Paul Mitchell Cosmetology school and is set to begin, what I'm sure will be, a successful future.

McKENNA

Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough.
Og Mandino

McKenna (my middle child) is a girl that never gives up.  She has had her share of ups and downs, but never makes excuses.  Her experiences have made her into a strong, talented, and determined individual who has a bright future ahead.  She leaves for college this fall.  I don't know what I'll do without her, but I know an amazing life is awaiting her.

CORRI

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less traveled by.  And that has made all the difference.
Robert Frost

Corri (my oldest) is fearless.  This girl has too many accomplishments to list at the young age of twenty.  She has set incredibly high goals and standards for herself for years.  She is that person who never followed the crowd, who pushed herself to be the best, and who never settled for mediocre.  She is set to graduate from Colorado Mesa University in a few months and will marry her best friend, Lance, in September.  She deserves all that is good in life.

FRANKIE

Desire is the key to motivation, but it's the determination and commitment to unrelenting pursuit of your goal - a commitment to excellence - that will enable you to attain the success you seek.
Mario Andretti

Frankie impresses me.  This girl graduated from high school, went to California to pursue a dream of becoming a model, and has worked hard to make that happen.  Very few girls her age have the motivation and determination to do what she has done.  Frankie recently signed with an up and coming modeling agency and I couldn't be happier for her.   Congratulations, Frankie!!

Welcome to my new blog!

Hi everyone.  Thanks for taking a minute to check out my new photography blog.  I hope to share many fun sessions with you as I go along.  It has been an overwhelming process getting to this point, but I guess one never knows what they're capable of until they push forward.  Well . . . this is me pushing forward!

I've learned a lot over the past two years and hope to keep learning and growing.  Please check back often to see some of the wonderful people I have been allowed to photograph.

Thanks for dropping by - Janece
